My name is Kitty

Once upon a time, my husband stumbled upon a treasure: pomegranate jumbo yarn. Intrigued by its vibrant color and the promise of cozy warmth, I set out to create a blanket for him. As I worked the yarn through my fingers, the resulting giant blanket turned out to be a magnificent creation—so warm and squishy that we couldn't resist its allure.

Driven by my newfound passion for crafting these comforting masterpieces, I embarked on an exploration of various yarn types. But it was the jumbo chunky yarn that truly stole the show. It's thickness and plush texture created blankets that were simply unmatched in their luxuriousness.

Inspired by my love for roller derby, where I had earned the affectionate nickname "Bad Kitty" from my fellow athletes, I decided to christen my creations "Bad Kitty Blankets." The name perfectly encapsulated the fierce yet cozy nature of these handmade wonders.

To complete the journey of bringing Bad Kitty Blankets to life, I called upon the talents of my loved ones. My son, a budding artist, sketched a magnificent logo that embodied the spirit of these extraordinary blankets. A dear friend skillfully digitized the design, breathing life into the emblem. And to add the perfect touch of color, my mom lent her artistic expertise.

Creating Bad Kitty Blankets became a true family affair, with each member contributing their unique skills and love. From my husband's discovery of the pomegranate yarn to my son's artwork and my mom's colorful additions, every step of the process was infused with the warmth and togetherness that only a family can bring.
